  1.  6:1  And the word of the LORD came unto me, saying,
  2.  6:2  Son of man, set thy face toward the mountains of Israel,
  3. and prophesy against them,
  4.  6:3  And say, Ye mountains of Israel, hear the word of the
  5. Lord GOD; Thus saith the Lord GOD to the mountains, and to the
  6. hills, to the rivers, and to the valleys; Behold, I, [even] I,
  7. will bring a sword upon you, and I will destroy your high
  8. places.
  9.  6:4  And your altars shall be desolate, and your images shall
  10. be broken: and I will cast down your slain [men] before your
  11. idols.
  12.  6:5  And I will lay the dead carcases of the children of
  13. Israel before their idols; and I will scatter your bones round
  14. about your altars.
  15.  6:6  In all your dwellingplaces the cities shall be laid
  16. waste, and the high places shall be desolate; that your altars
  17. may be laid waste and made desolate, and your idols may be
  18. broken and cease, and your images may be cut down, and your
  19. works may be abolished.
  20.  6:7  And the slain shall fall in the midst of you, and ye
  21. shall know that I [am] the LORD.
  22.  6:8  Yet will I leave a remnant, that ye may have [some] that
  23. shall escape the sword among the nations, when ye shall be
  24. scattered through the countries.
  25.  6:9  And they that escape of you shall remember me among the
  26. nations whither they shall be carried captives, because I am
  27. broken with their whorish heart, which hath departed from me,
  28. and with their eyes, which go a whoring after their idols: and
  29. they shall loathe themselves for the evils which they have
  30. committed in all their abominations.
  31.  6:10  And they shall know that I [am] the LORD, [and that] I
  32. have not said in vain that I would do this evil unto them.
  33.  6:11  Thus saith the Lord GOD; Smite with thine hand, and
  34. stamp with thy foot, and say, Alas for all the evil
  35. abominations of the house of Israel! for they shall fall by the
  36. sword, by the famine, and by the pestilence.
  37.  6:12  He that is far off shall die of the pestilence; and he
  38. that is near shall fall by the sword; and he that remaineth and
  39. is besieged shall die by the famine: thus will I accomplish my
  40. fury upon them.
  41.  6:13  Then shall ye know that I [am] the LORD, when their
  42. slain [men] shall be among their idols round about their
  43. altars, upon every high hill, in all the tops of the mountains,
  44. and under every green tree, and under every thick oak, the
  45. place where they did offer sweet savour to all their idols.
  46.  6:14  So will I stretch out my hand upon them, and make the
  47. land desolate, yea, more desolate than the wilderness toward
  48. Diblath, in all their habitations: and they shall know that I
  49. [am] the LORD.
